I live with my children near Bremen, idyllic and somewhat rural, my husband lives in Berlin.

We are a discordant couple, i.e. my husband is HIV-negative.

In 2010, the diagnosis hit me completely unprepared and I lost briefly the ground under my feet. I didn't want to admit it, I was happily married and finally pregnant...

I thought I was the only one, found hardly any literature or information on the internet and unfortunately this project did not exist yet.

Luckily today, that is very different and therefore I became a buddy to help others during their first moment. And to stand by their side.

I love music, I like to be creative and I will listen to you.

Today I am mother of two healthy, wonderful children, working full time, still happily married and HIV-positive.

HIV has become part of my life, many things have changed, some things have become more difficult, but many things I have only been able to experience because of the diagnosis and I don't want to miss that any more. I would be happy to tell you about it, so that you too can learn to live with it.
